Kids and the television

There are a lot of advocates out there who say television is bad for kids blah blah blah.

I don't think I'll ever find myself preventing Hiro from watch television.

Monitoring. That's what parents are there for. It's training the kids to watch the appropriate shows.

My little boy grew up watching The Discovery Channel and The Animal Planet. Little by little we started introducing him to cartoons popular to his generation. Presently, he loves watching these shows (in any order):
